Day 1: Arrival in Iquitos and transfer to the Treehouse Lodge
Arrive in Iquitos, the gateway to the Amazon, where you will be greeted and transferred to the Treehouse Lodge, a unique accommodation nestled in the rainforest canopy. Day 4: Leaving The Amazon and Arrival in Cusco
After breakfast, take in the final views of the rainforest before your transfer back to Iquitos. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time to explore the city, visiting local markets and the famous Iron House before heading to the airport for your onward journey to Cusco.
Arrive in Cusco and immerse yourself in its captivating atmosphere. After some time to relax and adjust to the altitude, set off on an afternoon guided walking tour that brings the city to life. Begin at the lively Plaza de Armas, where history meets vibrant culture. Admire the exquisite colonial architecture of the Cathedral and explore the sacred Qorikancha, once the most important temple of the Inca Empire. Continue to the picturesque San Blas district, with its artisan workshops and charming narrow streets. For dinner, consider a local restaurant to savor traditional Andean dishes like alpaca steak or quinoa soup. End your day with a restful overnight stay at your hotel, ready for more adventures.

Day 5: The Sacred Valley of The Incas
Spend a full day exploring the breathtaking Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visit the traditional town of Pisac with its vibrant market and ancient ruins, then continue to Ollantaytambo, home to a majestic Inca fortress. Enjoy stunning views of terraced landscapes, Andean villages, and the Urubamba River. In the afternoon, board the Vistadome train for a scenic journey to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll spend the night in preparation for your visit to Machu Picchu the following morning.
